 A video is being widely shared on social media in which an army personnel is seen offering namaz beside a building. The video is being shared with a caption suggesting that a Muslim man from the Indian Central Reserve Police Force was offering namaz during his duty.

A social media user shared the video with a caption that reads, “WATCH: Viral Video of CRPF Personnel Performing Salah on Market Duty Wins Hearts. True Discipline is Never Off-Duty. While the world rushes around him, this CRPF Jawan finds a moment of stillness in the middle of a crowded market. On a Google reverse image search, we found that the same video was shared by an Instagram page, Banglanews Today, on January 19. The video was shared with a caption that reads, “The scene of the prayer of the army on duty goes viral| BD Army.”

The video was also shared by NTV News on January 19. The caption associated with the video reads, “Army personnel perform prayers while on duty in front of the Election Commission Bangladesh Army NTV News.”

Moreover, another Bangladeshi YouTube channel, Bangla Tribune, also shared the same video, suggesting that the video is of Bangladesh, where the army personnel prayed on the street while on duty in front of the Election Commission.
