We also found that Al Jazeera had uploaded the video on November 9, 2023, with a caption that read, “The Palestinian interior ministry has reported a 'number of injuries’ among thousands of displaced people who are sheltering in the yards of the Indonesian hospital in northern Gaza. The vicinity of the hospital was attacked by Israeli fighter jets, the ministry said, specifically the Tal al-Zaatar area.” In this video, one can clearly see that the image is of a baton and not a gun.

Moreover, a report by The Times of Israel quoted Indonesia’s foreign ministry, which has denied any claim made by Israel which suggests that the Indonesian Hospital is built on the Hamas tunnels and is located near a launchpad for rocket attacks.

“The Indonesian Hospital in Gaza is a facility built by the Indonesian people entirely for humanitarian purposes and to serve the medical needs of the Palestinian people in Gaza,” Indonesia’s foreign ministry said. The hospital was built by an Indonesian fund in 2015 for Humanitarian aid in Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza.
