On March 17, police arrested YouTuber Elvish Tadav in the snake venom-rave party case.
A video of Elvish Yadav’s mother has now gone viral in which she is seen crying.
The text embedded in the video reads, “We are with you, Aunty Ji.”
“Just feel the pain of a Mother. I hope no one goes through something so terrible. Everything will be alright, aunty,” the video caption said
The caption hinted that the video shows Elvish’s mother crying after his arrest.
SouthCheck found the claim to be fake. We found the video was old and unrelated to his arrest.
On doing a Google Reverse Image Search, we found the same video was uploaded on a YouTube channel on August 1, 2023, with a caption claiming that Elvish Yadav’s mother was emotional as he was in Big Boss and away from her.
We found the same video was also uploaded on the official Elvish Yadav’s vlog channel on YouTube on August 1, 2023. At around 8:50 timestamp, you can see his mother crying. If you hear the conversations in the video, you can hear Elvish Yadav’s friend saying you will come to know who is going to be Big Boss. Moreover, you can hear his other friend saying not to cry.
Hence, we can ascertain that the viral video of Elvish Yadav’s mother is related to Big Boss and not his recent arrest.
