Many social media users shared the video claiming that the video is of the recent airdrop over the Gaza Strip.

SouthCheck found that the claim is misleading. We found that the viral video is old.
On a Google reverse image search, we found that the viral video was shared by an X account on October 18, 2024, with a caption that reads, “Planes drop humanitarian aid in southern Gaza. The authorities of the United Arab Emirates announced this Thursday the 51st airdrop of humanitarian aid in the enclave. In total, the Arab country has sent 3,463 tons of food and relief supplies.”
The screenshot of the video was also shared by a website, VK.com, on October 18, 2024. The image was shared with a caption suggesting that it shows humanitarian aid in Israel.
Moreover, according to a report by Reuters published on July 28, Israel has announced daily breaks in fighting in Gaza. Moreover, a halt in military operations for 10 hours a day in parts of Gaza and new aid corridors as Jordan and the United Arab Emirates airdropped supplies into the enclave, where images of starving Palestinians have alarmed the world.
