A video is being widely shared on social media in which some people are getting their hair cut in a salon, while some belly dancers are dancing.
The video is shared with a caption claiming that the video is from Lucknow. A social media user shared the video with a caption that reads, “Now get a haircut in Lucknow and also watch a Russian dance for free. Thank you Yogi ji” (Translated from Hindi)
SouthCheck found that the claim is false. The video is from Turkey.
On a Google reverse image search, we found that the same video was uploaded by an Instagram page, Barbers Kingg, on January 28, 2025. The video was shared with a text written in Turkish. The text, when translated, asks to send the video to the friends with whom you want to go to this salon.
The bio of the Instagram page suggests that it was of a hair cutting salon named Barbers King located in Antalya, a city in Turkey.
We also found another video, where men are getting their haircuts done, while belly dancers are dancing, and there is a DJ too.
In another similar video, we can see a hotel in the background, which has a logo with a blue background and white text which reads Residence Hotel. In another video, we can see that opposite the shop, there is a hotel named Antalya Residence.
We further found that the Google Street View of this location was not available. However, Google Maps suggested that both are close to each other.
The address of Barbers King is “The House Residence, Kültür, 3806. Sk. No:7 D:5B, 07090 Kepez/Antalya, Türkiye” and that of Antalya Residence Hotel is “Antalya Rezidans, Kültür, 3806. Sk. No:8, 07090 Kepez/Antalya, Türkiye.”
Hence, we can ascertain that both are nearby and the viral video is from Antalya, Turkey.
