 A video is being widely shared on social media in which a man wearing a skull cap talks rudely to a police officer. Those sharing the video claim it shows a Muslim man misbehaving with a police officer.

A social media user shared the video with a caption that reads, “Look at their mentality, talking to a policeman like this, madrasa-educated. They should be arrested.”

Fact Check

SouthCheck found that the claim is false. The viral video is scripted.

On a Google reverse image search, we found the same video published as a YouTube Shorts on March 17, 2025. The video was shared with a caption that reads, “Man gives threat to police officer.” We found similar videos featuring the same persons uploaded on the YouTube channel, hinting that the videos were scripted.

At around 14 seconds, the disclaimer reads, “This video presents by Monty Deepak Sharma. This video is a work of fiction, in no way does the video insults any stream, field, people of different occupation. This video just for entertainment purpose, it should not be taken seriously.”

We found an Instagram page that also shared a similar video having the same characters, suggesting that police slapped a man named Aslam for eve-teasing. The video was shared on March 21, 20225.

We also found the Facebook page associated with the YouTube channel. The FB page description read, “I miss You Always Monty Bhaishab. Tv. Artist. Broadcast. Bringing up new videos projects everyday. Enjoy shorts content/reels/videos scenes from our released projects!! (sic)”

We also tried reaching out to the user, and the article will be updated once we receive the information.

Going by the information we have found so far, we can conclude that the viral video is scripted.
