In the above context, a video is being widely shared on social media in which the police is seen beating and arresting a young man.

Social media users shared the video with a caption suggesting that it shows police arresting the workers protesting in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

A social media user shared the video with a caption that reads, “The Godi media is claiming a Pakistan connection for the workers, while the Noida police is kicking them and hiking their salaries. Fact Check

SouthCheck found that the claim is false. The video is from Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh. The man in the video was arrested for causing a ruckus in a shop while intoxicated.

Under one of the viral posts on X, the UP Police debunked the claim in the comments on April 14.

In the caption, they stated that the viral video is from Madhya Pradesh’s Shahdol district. They wrote, “A video of an incident where a young man created a disturbance in an inebriated state in the Budhar police station area of Shahdol district, Madhya Pradesh, is being circulated by certain social media accounts misleadingly as an event from Gautam Buddha Nagar district, which is entirely false and misleading. All citizens are requested to verify the authenticity of any information/video before sharing it."

We further found that Dainik Bhaskar also shared the same video on April 11.

Also, at around 43 seconds, we can see a signboard with the name of the police station as Budhar, Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh. The video report stated that a drunk man created a ruckus in Shahdol, and a scuffle broke out between the police and the man.
