Jayant Singh Chaudhary has left the Samajwadi Party and joined the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) on March 19, 2024.
A video has now gone viral in which Chaudhary is seen speaking against the BJP government.
“News is circulating that a meeting took place in Delhi. Where were these people when farmers were crushed and run over in Lakhimpur? The way they crushed the farmers and drove away in their cars, no human being would allow such incidents to happen. Even today, those people sit as ministers. They are still respected. Their honor is maintained on the platforms. Where are these people who are now expecting things from you, expecting things from me? Am I a coin that will flip like this?” he asked.
The video is shared with a caption: “आखिरकार जयंत चौधरी का जमीर जागा, फिर पार्टी बदलेंगे क्या???” (English translation, “Finally, Jayant Chaudhary's conscience has awakened, will they change parties now?”)

We found News 24 had also uploaded the video on January 27, 2022. The caption associated with the video suggests that Jayant Chaudhary was angry at the BJP's offer and made the above statement.
